What interviewers are really looking for

It is easy to think interviewers are looking for the "right" answer. In reality, they are looking for evidence of how you think, how you work, and how you make decisions.

Competency over Charisma

Charisma can get you through the door, but evidence gets you the offer. Interviewers need to justify their decision to their team, and "I liked them" is not a defensible justification.

Pro Tip
Always back up your claims with specific examples. Use the Situation-Task-Action-Result (STAR) method to keep your answers structured and evidence-based.
